Recently, IAIN Walisongo Semarang, was changing its name to UIN walisongo Semarang based on decree of president was signed on december, 2014.
Therefor, to respond it, there is discour that UIN Walisongo will add 9 majors, such as science, social and humaniora, and pysicologist, etc. there are many advantages and disadvantages are caused by it.the advantage is increasing prospective students, expected that UIN Walisongo Semarang will get students 2 fold than preceding year, becouse heterogeneus enthusiasts. on the other hand, there is disadvantage cause by it, such as, decreasing enthusiasts drasticallyon majir of religious.
personally, its advantage and disadvantage natural thing. however UIN Walisongo should dare to accept the risk.
